There are fewer joys than listening to the happy laughter of children on the playground. I’ve been fortunate to see my two children (soon to be three) letting their imagination run wild at SMILE Playground here in Sudbury.
Located at the Haskell Field facility, this playground was the first fully accessible playground in Metrowest and was a project created in large part due to the advocacy and care of the SMILE Mass organization.
This particular playground has equipment for all ages and space for parents to sit while their kids enjoy the space. Picnic tables, benches, and more are throughout the fenced in space. With numerous slides, a sandbox, swings, and so much more — this is surely a playground worth a drive to.
If you’ve ever been fortunate enough to enjoy this playground, please swing over to the SMILE Mass website and make a small donation to help them continue to make play an accessible option for all.
